The Swedish superstar defeated Aruna in a straight set, hence the player’s ranking had no bearing on the outcome of the match.

Kallberg dominated the match and won 3-0 (11-8, 11-9, 11-9) to dash Aruna’s chances of progressing past the round of 32 of the competition.

Quadri has represented Nigeria at the Commonwealth Games and Olympic Games and could call time on his illustrious career after the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France.
