Following the recent uproar caused by his interview with Sky Sports Italia, Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku according to reports in the English media could be a summer transfer target for Paris Saint-Germain who might lose France international of Cameroon descent Kylian Mbappe.

The French billionaires could reportedly table a massive €90 million summer bid for the troubled Chelsea striker with the expected departure of Kylian Mbappe who is being courted by Real Madrid.

The Belgian ace made a sensational return to his old club last August following a club record £97.5 million transfer from Serie A champions Inter Milan.

However, Romelu Lukaku recently sparked outrage by expressing his desire to return to the San Siro with the Nerazzurri.

This has led to exit rumours once again, though Chelsea will be looking to recoup their initial investment in case of a sale.

Lukaku has bagged eight goals and two assists in 20 games for the Blues this term and is under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2026.

Chelsea, meanwhile, have identified Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland as a possible replacement for the Belgium striker who is originally from the DR Congo, although the club can expect plenty of competition for his signature.

Lukaku was on target against Chesterfield in the FA Cup on Saturday, his eighth goal of the season in 20 games and is expected to earn a starting place as Chelsea play Tottenham Hotspur in the second-leg of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
