After commissioning the plant on Monday, the company will start the distribution of power to residents in Aba mega city, comprising nine local government areas in Abia State.

Aba Geometric Power Integrated Company will become the first electricity company in Nigeria to generate and distribute power on their own through gas. Aba will be separated from the national grid. The company has laid a pipeline to distribute gas from Owaza to their station in Osisioma.

Residents of the area covered by the power company hope to enjoy constant electricity supply.
