Otti Appoints Ekeleme Okezie As Rector Abia College Of Health Technology

 Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti, has approved the appointment of Aloysius Ekeleme Okezie as the substantive Rector of the College of Health Sciences and Management Technology, Aba.

According to a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Kazie Uko, “the appointment is with immediate effect.”

The statement further directed the current Rector, Dr Osita Igbe, to hand over the duties of his office to Okezie.

“This announcement clarifies and supersedes any other information with respect to the School of Health Sciences and Management Technology, Aba, in the media before now.”

Recall that the former governor had in March, suspended the rector of the Aba-based school and appointed Dr Ezeakolam Nwogwugwu, the then Head of Department, Public Health of the Institution.

Subsequently, Ikpeazu in April after the governorship election, appointed Dr Osita Igbe as the rector to replace Nwogwugwu.
