Osinbajo’s Presidential Declaration: “I Don't Have Any Son Grown Up EnoughTo Declare”

The All Progressives Congress (APC) chief presidential aspirant, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reacted to the latest presidential ambition of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.⁣

When asked by journalists to comment on the VP’s declaration, Tinubu handed out a rather terse statement insinuating Osinbajo would always be his political son.   ⁣

He stated this on Monday in Abuja, in an interview with newsmen shortly after meeting with 12 APC governors.⁣

The meeting which was held at Kebbi Governor’s Lodge, Asokoro in Abuja, came hours after Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo joined the 2023 presidential race.⁣

According to the APC national leader:  “I don’t have any son grown up enough to make such declaration.”⁣

Tinubu also ceased the opportunity to hint that his meeting with state governor on the platform of the party was to seek collaboration, support and encouragement concerning his 2023 presidential ambition.⁣

Prime Business Africa recalls that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Monday formally declared his intention to run for President in 2023.

“I am today, with utmost humility, formally declaring my intention to run for the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the platform of our great party, the All Progressives Congress,” he said in a viral video.
