Academy teams are expected to arrive the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, with their teams made up of players below the age of 18 for a Scouting programme.

The Showcase 2023 is in partnership with the Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC).

The Showcase is in its second edition after the successful launch in Madrid in 2022.

Marc Bautista is the Founder and CEO at the Showcase.

“We are delighted with the partnership with the Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC). Previously, we had a fruitful meeting with the Sports Ministry in Cairo.

The pre Showcase will hold in Abuja with two Spanish coaches coming to Abuja for the programme. The government will sponsor a few players to the Showcase itself in Cairo.

“Two more clubs have indicated interest in being in Cairo in addition to the clubs we have a pre existing agreement with. Everything is almost set.

“We are honoured to put smiles on the faces of these young talented footballers who are looking out for such opportunities,” Bautista told Prime Business Africa.

The details of the pre Showcase event is seen below.
