Ahead of their Christmas concert in Lagos originally scheduled for 18th December 2021, the Psquare brothers have spoken about their differences and what led to their reunion after about four years of anger and bitterness that ran deep.

In an Instagram Live session, the twin superstars addressed the issues they had and the place of meddlers in their family scuffle.

Peter Okoye whose illness had ensured that the show would inadvertently be postponed by a week said:

“It was a healing process. It was unplanned”.

“Na person wey take side dey hear am now. If you put mouth or you take side, I hope you are okay now,” Peter Okoye said.

Peter who went by the stage name ‘Mr P’ during their face off then revealed a rather astonishing question from a suposedly curious fan.

“Somebody actually wrote something, he said I want to know who walked up to who.”

Mr P went on: “Not like we don’t still have Rude Boy and Mr P but it is a triple dose. Just enjoy the triple dose, enjoy the moment. Trying to figure out who or how, you don’t need that,” indicating that music faithful will still see individual hits from both of them.

On their concert on Saturday, 25 December, Peter Okoye spoke enthusiastically about the show that will feature other superstars like Innocent Idibia (2baba) and J Martins.

“Like I said, we decided not to have any show in Nigeria until this 25th. If we wanted to be doing shows, we will be doing three shows every day,” he said.

Rudeboy (Paul Okoye) who is noted for his singing prowess while his brother holds forte in exquisite dancing moves added:

“Shows were coming but if they are going to see us perform together, let it be from our concert.”
