Obi Purported Leaked Audio: I Never Campaigned For Any Politician – Oyedepo

April 2, 2023

Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, David Oyedepo on Sunday stated he had never campaigned for any politician or spoken on their behalf to anybody during any elections in the country.

The general overseer disclosed this in the church headquarters in Ota, Ogun State during his Sunday service.

The presiding Bishop’s speech was in reaction to reports on media platforms that the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, called him on the eve of the 2023 presidential poll to help instruct Christians in South West and Kwara, Nigeria, to vote for him.

Oyedepo, however, maintained that he never spoken to any group of people on behalf of any politician. He insisted that no body told him what to say at any point in time.

He added that all political parties came to him for prayers and advice before the election and he gave them the opportunity.

He said, “Nobody had ever told me what to say in this world. No.

“I have never campaigned for anybody or speak on anybody’s behalf and I will not do that till I go to heaven.

“There is no (political) party in this country that didn’t come to me for prayers and for advice.

I advised them, some, they didn’t take. Those who chose to take it, they see results; those who said no, they are going about it (laughs).

“If you still come again, I will still tell you, it doesn’t change.”

The spiritual father however, didn’t specifically say if he had any conversation with Obi or not. But maintained that no body has ever told him what to say at any point in time.
