Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South: Chidi Obetta Declares To Run For House Of Reps

Chief Executive Officer of Jerry Marriot Hotels and Suites, Nsukka, Chief Mark Chidi Obetta on Sunday, 15th May 2022, declared his intention to contest for ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to represent the people of Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South at the Federal House of Representatives.

While making his formal declaration for the contest in Nsukka and Igbo-Eze South PDP Headquarters, Chief Obetta stated that he has been in close contact with key policymakers and that he has the vision and quality to represent his people.
He noted that the constituency has the right to benefit from the dividend of democracy and that he has the capacity to contribute his part to this.
The aspirant said the state is blessed with a peaceful and hard-working governor in the person of Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and other key government actors promised that his focus will be more on providing employment opportunities in order to engage the youths productively.
Earlier on, his media aid, Mr Okechukwu Obetta described him as an overwhelming young man who has the capacity to take the constituency to greater heights. He appealed to the people to support his ambition, adding that the aspirant is a man of generosity and innovation.

The stakeholders welcomed and commended the Obetta for his humane and peaceful nature, promising to support his ambition by coming out en mass to vote for him in the forthcoming election.
