Addressing the media, Alake emphasized, “The Mining Cadastre Office has recommended the revocation of 1,633 mineral titles due to the holders’ failure to pay the prescribed annual service fees on time. Despite ample warning and a 30-day written notice, these holders persistently violated their obligations to the government.”
