Barcelona Femina striker Asisat Oshoala leads the attack along with Ifeoma Onumonu.

However the shocking name on the team list albeit on the substitute bench is Francesca Ordega who earlier today was ruled out of the tournament due to medical reasons.

The team lines up in a 4-3-3 formation.

No official word yet has been made by the head coach but the medical crew would have been able to patch up the dashing forward to be fit enough for the game.

Nigeria defeated South Africa via penalty shootout to win the last edition of the tournament in 2018 when Ghana hosted the continent.

South Africa however defeated the nine-time champions in Lagos at the Aisha Buhari invitational tournament in 2021, being the last time they faced off.
