Similarly, the all-share index (ASI) expanded by 125.86 basis points to 145,880.77 ASI, from 145,754.91 ASI.

Over 2.11 billion shares were exchanged in 40,435 deals, valued at N19.39 billion, compared to the 2.21 billion shares traded in 35,036 deals, worth N32.42 billion on Friday.

Top five gainers

  • FGSUK2031S4’s share price increased by N11.93 kobo, to rise from N85 to N96.93 kobo per share.
  • Lotus Hal15’s share value grew by N6, from N60 to N66 per share.
  • TIP ended trading at N13.20 kobo per share, from N12 per share – indicating an increase of N1.20 kobo.
  • Sunu Assurances gained N0.50 kobo to end trading at N5.50 kobo, having opened with N5.
  • UPDC’s share value was up by N0.79 kobo, after closing at N8.69 kobo from N7.90 per share.

Top five losers

  • Associated Bus Company share price depreciated by N0.50 kobo, dwindling from N5 to N4.50 kobo per share.
  • Abbey Mortgage Bank recorded a N0.63 kobo decline in its share price to end trading at N5.67 kobo after opening with N6.30 kobo per share.
  • UAC Nigeria lost N8.35 kobo in its share price after trading hours, to sell at N75.25 kobo from N83.60 kobo per share.
  • HMCall reported a decline of N0.48 kobo from the previous day’s share price of N4.84 kobo to end trading at N4.36 kobo per share.
  • VFD Group recorded a N1.30 kobo decline in its share price to end trading at N12.10 kobo after opening with N13.40 kobo per share.

  • Universal Insurance recorded 230.53 million shares valued at N278.90 million.

  • Sterling Financial Holdings Company recorded 120.19 million shares exchanged on its floor, worth N987.85 million.
  • Veritas Kapital reported 74.56 million shares valued at N164.61 million were exchanged by investors.
