Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi has changed his agents as he makes a return to full fitness after his hamstring injury setback, Prime Business Africa reports.

Ndidi was previously managed by Germany-based FirstEleven International Sports Management firm but has now signed up with Octagon as some top clubs in England mull over a potential move for his services.

Rory Rebbeck, an agent who works with Octagon confirmed the news on social media platform, LinkedIn and stated that he was delighted to announce the acquisition of the 24 year-old Super Eagles midfield star.

“I am delighted to make this announcement. Ndidi has many great years ahead on and off the field.”

Meanwhile in a boost to Leicester City, the Nigerian has reiterated that he is not considering interests from other clubs.

Ndidi has reportedly commanded transfer interests from clubs like Manchester United, Arsenal and Bayern Munich since he moved from Belgian side Genk to Leicester in 2017.

The Nigeria midfield powerhouse is currently valued at £54 million and his contract with the Foxes will expire in 2024.

Speaking with ESPN, Ndidi said: “We are doing well and I am enjoying myself here.

“I still have a contract with Leicester. I am learning and trying to improve myself every day and I am doing OK here, so no need to go anywhere.”

Ndidi’s manager at Leicester,, Brendan Rodgers admits that losing Ndidi will be a tough decision to make.

“It’s impossible to find what we have. We’ve got good players, but specifically the job he does in breaking up play and just his overall defending and in the box, he’s irreplaceable for us,” the former Liverpool and Celtic boss stressed.
