Manchester United on Tuesday night crashed out of the 2023/2024 UEFA Champions League with a 1-0 defeat against German Bundesliga Champions Bayern Munich at Old Trafford.

The poor season that the Red Devils have had was made worse by the fact that they finished bottom of Group A with Copenhagen getting the better of already qualified Galatasaray.

United also lost influential defensive duo of Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw to injuries in the first half.

Bayern grabbed the only goal of the match in the 70th minute through Kingsley Coman who latched onto the ball delivered by a former United target, Harry Kane.

Coman saw a badly exposed keeper, Andre Onana, to slot past the Cameroonian safe hands.
