IPOB Commander Shot Dead In Imo

The tactical team of Imo state police command has shot dead a suspected member of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Eastern Security Network (ESN), Chidera Nnabuhe, during a gun battle in Amaifeke, Orlu Council area of Imo state.

Nnabuhe was reported to have been killed alongside two other IPOB members when the police stormed their hideout in an uncompleted building, located in a valley known as ‘Ngbuka’ in Amaifeke.

Police Public Relations Officer, Michael Abattam. Who confirmed the incident, explained that the IPOB/ESN members were about to resume attacks on the state police and government agencies when their intelligence picked up the signals.

Abattam, also disclosed that the police has arrested some members of the group, and has activated a manhunt for others who escaped.
