Super Eagles’ quest to win a fourth Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire took a hit on Monday evening as striker Victor Boniface will miss the 2024 tournament following the hamstring injury he sustained up in camp.

Initial prognosis revealed that the Bayer Leverkusen star would probably not sufficiently recover in time for the tournament and had baded his teammates bye.
