Glo Confirms OAP, Disc Jockey Do2tun As Host Of Battle Of The Year Dance Competition

Organisers of the Glo Battle of the Year dance competition has announced ace Nigerian on – Air – personality and disckey jockey, Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, aka Do2tun as the host of the competition which behind in February.

The competition sponsored by telecommunications giants Globacom will air live on Glo TV, an innovative television streaming service which offers unlimited excitement with amazing content for all age.

Launched in Nigeria in October, 2021, Glo Battle of Year Nigeria was conceived to discover, nurture new talents and help them transform from street dancers to living legends.

The host of the ‘Turn Up Friday’ show on Dstv Do2tun is expected to coordinate activities during the second and third stage of the show including battle rounds and quarter finals, as well as semi-finals and finals performance shows which will be transmitted live. The first stage of the show, regional auditions was recently concluded across the key cities in the country.

“This sponsorship is a testimony to our passion and commitment to empower and invest in young, talented Nigerians and also offer them a strong platform to showcase their talent to the world.

“Glo Battle of the Year Nigeria will take talented youths from Naija streets to the world stage.

“We remain committed to supporting young Nigerians and the entertainment industry,” Globacom said in an official statement.

The show judges include Poco Lee, Pinky Debbie, Izzy Odigie, Big Flo, Maxbuck, Dunamis, Franc Okwara, JC Jedor, Poxy (Cameroon), Gidnasty (USA), Menno (Netherlands), and Manuela (Germany).
