GIGL, a leading Nigeria’s logistics company in application of technology in business has taken a step further in its innovation by launching a new delivery product, called ‘Go-Faster’ for timely and efficient delivery of parcels to customers.

The latest poduct is aimed at providing next day deliveries to and from selected cities.

According to the Product Lead at GIGL, Tunde Arogundade, the company introduced the product in response to the quest by customers for faster delivery.

Arogundade further stated that cities like Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt were selected for launch of the Go-Faster operation, as record of data revealed that they have high “volume of traffic and customer’s demand,” adding that the product was however, “extended to other cities within Nigeria and Accra in Ghana where customers are demanding for it.”

The new ‘Go Faster’ product complements the existing ‘Go Standard’ designed to deliver shipments within Nigeria in 24hrs, down from 72hrs.

The company has been at the forefront of progressively leveraging technology to ease delivery as it made history around June, striking a deal with JET Motor Company to launch electric vehicle for use in operations as a way of contributing to the global climate agenda of decarbonization.

GIGL was set up in 2012, with headquarters in Lagos. It offers logistics to places across Nigeria. With its mobile app, GIGGO, which was launched in 2019, it equally facilitates trans-border logistics services even from the remotest locations.

In 2020, GIGL partnered with Jet Motor Company, an African automobile manufacturer, in a corporate deal to adopt GIGL’s service centres in Nigeria as charging stations for electric vehicles
