Nigeria’s U17 Women’s team, Flamingos  are poised for today’s FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier against DR Congo.

The Nigerian lasses arrived safely in Kinshasha on Saturday evening ahead of today’s game.

The match will hold at the Stade des Martyrs, Kinshasa as Nigeria look to secure a result that will make the second leg on March 19 at MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja a walk in the park.

After the first round of U-17 Women’s World Cup holding in India later in the year saw the qualification of Eritrea, Kenya, DR Congo, Senegal and Benin following the withdrawal of their respective opponents, the second qualifying round will take place during the weekends of March 4-6 and March 18-20, 2022.
