Diddy Makes Excuse For Assaulting Ex-Girlfriend

Sean “Diddy” Combs finds himself at the center of an investigation by the New York Police Department (NYPD), with strong indications that the probe involves allegations of sexual assault.

While the details of the case remain under wraps, the investigation coincides with a high-profile federal lawsuit filed by Diddy’s ex-partner, Cassie Ventura, accusing him of rape, human trafficking, and other grave charges.

Law enforcement sources revealed to TMZ that there is an active case at the NYPD with the name “Sean Combs.” However, the case file has been labelled as “locked,” signifying its sensitive nature and restricted access.

The secrecy surrounding the investigation adds an air of mystery, fueling speculation about the nature and severity of the allegations against the hip-hop icon.

Cassie’s  Lawsuit:

Cassie Ventura’s federal lawsuit has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry, accusing Diddy of heinous acts, including rape and human trafficking. The NYPD has urged potential victims to come forward, signaling a wider investigation into the allegations. The statement from law enforcement suggests not only a focus on the existing case but also an active search for additional victims.

Despite the gravity of the accusations, inquiries to law enforcement in other jurisdictions mentioned in Cassie’s lawsuit, such as Miami, Beverly Hills, and Los Angeles, yielded consistent responses.

No police reports have been filed, and investigations have not been initiated regarding the claims against Diddy and Cassie. The lack of corresponding cases in these areas raises questions about the credibility and scope of the allegations.

Previous Incidents and Denials:

Delving into the past, a 2016 incident involving a breakup argument between Diddy and Cassie in Beverly Hills emerged. While a domestic incident report was filed, no legal action ensued. Diddy’s lawyer has vehemently denied the allegations, asserting that many of Cassie’s claims could be barred from criminal prosecution due to statute-of-limitation constraints. Diddy himself has accused Cassie of attempting to extort a staggering $30 million from him.

Federal Investigation and Diddy’s Denials:

In light of the serious nature of the allegations, inquiries were made with federal law enforcement sources, including the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York and the FBI. However, no information was found to corroborate the claims at the federal level. Diddy’s legal team remains steadfast in refuting Cassie’s lawsuit, leaving the door open for a potential criminal complaint to be filed in California, particularly concerning the rape allegation.
