A 0.47 percent increase in the all-share index (ASI) added N395.34 billion to the Nigerian stock market capitalisation on Tuesday, July 22.
This increased the market capitalisation to N83.78 trillion, from N83.39 trillion recorded on Friday, July 18, while the ASI expanded to 132,451.73 ASI, from 131,826.77 ASI, indicating a gain of 624.96 basis points.

- Dangote Sugar share price increased by N5.10 kobo, to rise from N51 to N56.10 kobo per share.
- TIP’s share value grew by N1.10 kobo, from N11.03 to N12.13 kobo per share.
- Sovereign Insurance ended trading at N1.34 kobo per share, from N1.22 kobo per share – indicating an increase of N0.12 kobo.
- Enamelwa gained N2 to end trading at N22.35 kobo, having opened with N20.35 kobo.
- UPL’s share value was up by N0.55 kobo, after closing at N6.15 kobo from N5.60 kobo per share.

- Legend Internet’s share price depreciated by N0.59 kobo, dwindling from N5.90 kobo to N5.31 kobo per share.
- Ellah Lakes recorded a N1.10 kobo decline in its share price to end trading at N9.90 kobo after opening with N11 per share.
- FTN Cocoa lost N0.67 kobo in its share price after trading hours, to sell at N6.09 from N6.76 kobo per share.
- Meyer reported a decline of N1.85 kobo from the previous day’s share price of N18.90 kobo to end trading at N17.05 per share.
- Thomas Wyatt recorded a N0.33 kobo decline in its share price to end trading at N3.06 after opening with N3.39 kobo per share.
