Customs Operatives Kill Motorcyclist In Ogun State

A motor cyclist, Tajudeen Adelanwa has been allegedly killed by the Nigerian Customs Service Officials at Ibara junction, Abeokuta North area of Ogun state.

According to an eyewitness,  Adelanwa was shot dead by customs operatives after they failed to extort money from him.

The eye witness explained that the the officials immediately ran away after the incident, leaving him and others to rush the victim to hospital, and have the bullets removed from his boy.

He condemned the actions of the trigger-happy officers who delight in indiscriminate shooting in crowded areas in the name of chasing smugglers.

Meanwhile, all attempts of the community leaders, tradition rulers and members of the National Assembly to curtail the actions of the Customs management and its, have fallen on deaf ears.
