Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Maiduguri, has re-arraigned Dookenger Odey Takon before Borno State High Court, Maiduguri.
Dookenger was re-arraigned on a four-count charge of cheating, forgery, issuance of dud cheques, and obtaining twelve million, seven hundred and fifty nine thousand and sixty naira.
She was first re-arraigned alongside her company, X-traordinaire Designs Ltd., Last year in October, of which she pleaded ‘not guilty’.
At the resumed hearing, the defendant pleaded guilty, when the prosecution counsel, Mukhtar Ali Ahmed informed the court of the amended charge and asked her to take her plea.
Justice Fadawu adjourned the case till October 6, 2021, and ordered that the defendant in a correctional facility.
