The appointment, subject to confirmation by the Senate, marks a significant development in Nigeria’s economic landscape.

Expressing their endorsement, Mr. Yomi David, the Executive Director of TADI, conveyed his thoughts in a statement from Abuja, saying, “I wish to commend Tinubu for putting the round peg in the round hole at this crucial moment of our nation’s democratic history.”

He went on to express complete confidence in Dr. Bala Bello’s capability to excel in his new role, stating, “We, in the civil society, have no doubt about Bello’s capacity to serve and deliver on all tasks assigned to him at the apex bank.”

This unconventional show of support from a civil society organization signifies their belief in President Tinubu’s vision for the nation. Mr. David emphasized the importance of this appointment, asserting, “Your determination to reposition Nigeria to its place of pride among the committee of nations is very commendable.”

The TADI Executive Director closed his statement with a call to action, urging all Nigerians to unite and support President Tinubu’s administration in its mission to deliver renewed hope to the nation, transcending tribal and religious boundaries.
