Britain’s Heaviest Man, Holton, Dies At 33

Britain’s heaviest man, Mr Jason Holton, from Camberley in Surrey, England died on Saturday after suffering from organ failure.

Holton, who died days before celebrating his 34th birthday, had been confined to his house for the past eight due to his large frame.

According to a report by Mail Online, Mr Holton’s overweight was attributed to overeating which  started when he was a teenager. The report also said the root cause was bullying at school and mental health problem.

Mr Holton, who had earlier spoken to TalkTV, also claimed that his father’s death when he was three had a profound impact on his eating habit that led to such a massive weght gain. “ ‘Maybe if I had my father around, maybe there would be rules set to what I’m eating and stuff to stop me putting things and stuff in my mouth,” Mr Holton told TalkTV

He was estimated to weigh around 700 pounds.

“Holton consumed at least 10,000 calories a day – four times the usual daily amount for a man – including eating doner kebabs for breakfast.

In 2022, he suffered a series of mini-strokes and a suspected blood clot. In 2020, he collapsed and had to be airlifted by crane from his mother’s third floor flat by a team of more than 30 firemen and engineers,” the the Mail Online report said.

Mr Holton’s weight was such that he was unable to walk or even dress himself
