Cristiano Ronaldo on Monday evening took to his Instagram page to announce the heartbreaking death of his little son.

“It is with our deepest sadness that we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away from an unspecified illness.

“It is the greatest pain that any parent can feel,” former five World Footballer of the Year winner Ronaldo said.

Ronaldo and girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez are already receiving condolesce messages fe friends, colleagues and families.

Ronaldo scored a hat-trick on Saturday in Manchester United’s 3-2 win over Norwich City in the Premier League.

Meanwhile according to the ever-reliable Fabrizio Romano, an agreement has been completed between Manchester United and Erik Ten Hag for the Dutchman to become the club’s new manager. This ends months of speculation that the Ajax coach would be making the trip to Old Trafford starting next season.

Romano’s tweet states: “Erik ten Hag to Manchester United, here we go! Agreement on contract now set to be completed. Mitchell van der Gaag, priority candidate for coaching staff…Ajax & Man United in contact to discuss €2m clause – announcement timing depends on this”

Aside mainstream media and the entertainment industry, he has interests in scouting/unearthing of talents in the sports and creative sectors, exports business and property development.
