Football faithful have nicknamed the West African rivalry as the ‘Jolof Derby’ with reference to the bragging rights of both nations’ delicacacies.

The first leg on Friday ended goalless with Ghana handed an advantage of sorts as they held three-time African champions meaning that the Ghanaians will qualify for the World Cup if they played out a score draw.

Another nil – all result after 90 minutes of action means the tie going into extra time of 30 minutes to produce one of Africa’s five representatives at the World Cup in Qatar.

The Otto Addo-led team will train at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium at 5 pm to have a feel of the turf ahead of their second leg game against the Super Eagles.
