BBNaija season 9 housemates set to go solo

Sixteen housemates left in the ongoing BBNaija Season 9, are in for tougher contest after Biggie announced the dissolution of pairs after sixth eviction on Sunday.

This implies that the housemates will seize to function as a pair and will henceforth work out  their own individual survival strategy.

Sharing the news on X.com on Sunday, BBnaija wrote, “Breaking: The crutches are hereby removed! The #BBNaija housemates will continue their journey as solo players in the No Loose Guard house.”

The disbanded pairs that will now be forced to go solo include; Aces, Wanni X Handi, Nelita, Shatoria, Mbadiwe Twins, Chekas, DoubleKay, and Beta.

In the course of working in pairs in the last six weeks, housemates have noted the weakness and strong points of their partners and this knowledge will no doubt be used for and against in survival stragegies that will henceforth apply.

An equally interesting part will be the relationship between the two set of twins left in the house, the Mbadiwe twins and of course Wanni and Handi whose relationships goes beyond just being in Biggie’s house.

Outside the house twins tend to act alike and have emotional attachment to each other but when a contest gets to a point where somebody must win, then the tendency to selfishly win first and apologise later will come to the fore.

The twin with dominant personality will put emotions aside and go for the jugular. That is sure to play out as we progress and also eye the N100million prize on the table other largesse that will come with ultimately emerging winner on October 6.

If a member of the twin wins, the other can say well in it still in the family, but not so for the other solo contestants from now on who will be adopting the ‘good morning my neighbour’ approach without necessarily interfering with what the said neighbour is doing .

Strictly Business No Emotions

Another interesting thing that is however not funny is that by this dissolution, housemates who  hitherto worked as partners in progress, will become ‘enemies’ seeking each other’s down falls and like the say in local parlance “No paddy for jungle.” So, it is safe to say this is the time the housemates will be pushed to the limits and hidden traits will be forced out of the individual. The fight and flight adrenaline is about to be released and the intrigues will be overwhelming.

Meanwhile, the Radicals (Fairme David and Michkey), who were evicted Sunday and the sixth evictees may be out but  they also made history in their own way as the last pair to be evicted following Biggie’s twist on Sunday.

As we gradually move towards the destination date of 6th October, die-hard fans of the BBNaija Season 9 should be prepare to have their mind blown by twists and turns that will take place in the House from now on.
