The trio will be fully involved in the today’s final training aimed at paying eagle-eye attention on all departments of the team and picking the starting 11 for the Knights showdown.

Eguavoen and his consortium of assistants made up of Rangers head coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu and Remo Stars head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, have brought in their combined wealth of experience since they were assembled to navigate Eagles course following the resignation of former coach, Finidi George and ill-fated contract to German tactician, Bruno Labbadia.

Their efforts has so far paid off with a 3-0 win over Republic of Benin led by former Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr and a goalless draw against Rwanda in Kigali.

The team will be hoping to consolidate in against Mediterranean Knights tomorrow before heading for the return leg in Libya on October 15.

Outright win for the Eagles will be an added advantage ahead of the second leg. Eagles currently lead the Group D of the qualifier with four points in two matches followed closely by Benin Republic, Rwanda and lastly Libya in that order.

While Nigeria will be slugging it out with Libya in Uyo tomorrow, Benin Republic will equally be locking horns with Libya at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan where the Cheetahs have adopted as their home ground.
