Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard and Declan Rice were on the scoresheet for the home side.

The lineup was unchanged from the side that took on the team coached by Ange Postecoglu whose job could be on the line.

Mikel Arteta’s side missed several clear cut scoring chances in the first half but eventually broke the deadlock when Kai havertz latched onto a through pass by Martin Odegaard and brought down by the onrushing Bournemouth keeper, Marc Tavers.

The game was halted for several minutes for VAR checks and a penalty was ultimately awarded which Anglo-Nigerian, Saka, dispatched from the spot for his sixth goal from 12 yards.

Trossard made it 2-0 in the 70th minute when he was teed off by Man-of-the-Match, Declan Rice.

Rice then made victory certain in added time as the north London giants have now chalked up 83 points.

The Gunners paid tribute to 14-year-old British-Nigerian boy, Daniel Anjorin who was recently murdered in a knife attack in the UK.

City will seek to pile the pressure as they face Wolverhampton Wanderers as they seek to pile the pressure.

Kick off is 5.30pm Nigerian time.
