APC Gubernatorial Aspirant In Anambra Election, Uba Expresses Lack Of Faith In November 6 Polls

Not satisfied by the outcome of the 2021 Governorship election in Anambra State on November 6 which saw former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Chukwuma Soludo emerge as the Governor-elect, the All Progressives Congress candidate in the just concluded Poll, Sen Andy Uba has vowed that he will ‘reclaim’ their lost mandate.

Uba during his party’s stakeholders meeting in Awka urged his loyalists not to lose hope in their efforts to redress the situation.
Uba was elated to see the election hold peacefully but remained adamant that there was manipulation in the results of the election.
“We will do everything possible to recover the Mandate,” Uba stated.
The APC candidate who insisted that the election did not reflect the aspirations of the electorate.
There were other notable speakers at the meeting including the Deputy Director General of the Campaign Organisation, Mr Ifeanyi Ibezi who stated there were mitigating factors against the party but said the party supporters must continue to work for the success of the party.
Uba came a distant fourth in the elections behind the trio of Soludo, Valentine Ozigbo of the PDP and YPP’s Ifeanyi Ubah.
The APC failed to win in any local government areas of Anambra state in the polls. The APGA won in 18 local governments while the PDP and YPP nicked one local government areas each.

Okosi is a member of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Association of Movie Producers (AMP), Association of Voiceover Artistes of Nigeria (AVOA), Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) and Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).

He has been part of cast in some Nollywood movies and radio dramas including Blood Money 2, Scores To Settle, Dead End 2, Another Campus Tale and Battle Line.

Aside mainstream media and the entertainment industry, he has interests in scouting/unearthing of talents in the sports and creative sectors, exports business and property development.
