In what could best be described as life goes on move, Nollywood actress, Annie Idibia, has re-surfaced on social media, close to two months after her break up with legendary music star, Innocent Idibia, aka 2Baba.

She did not however fail to thank her fans, family members and well-wishers who stood by her during the difficult experience in a new post  saying “To my family, to my friends who came through for me, the support system I have now, all my amazing family here and all over the world. God bless you for the outpouring of love. I appreciate every single one of you and I do not take any of it for granted. May the universe continue to be in your favour. God bless you all. Lots of love. Annie Uwana Macaulay.”

Recall that her marriage to the legendary song writer and singer, which produced two children, hit the rocks early this year with 2Baba announcing the separation himself and re-confirming it when some close friends and associates tried to down play the saga with a claim that his account was hacked.

Annie then reportedly went into rehab, but with her return, it may be safe to say she is ready to wake up to a new day.

While Annie originally Annie Uwana Macaulay, is set to start afresh, the love tango between ex-hubby Tuface Idibia and Edo law maker Natasha Osawaru is waxing stronger by the day with plans said to be on the way to have loud in city wedding.

The love affair, which equally generated its own fair share of controversy, including absolute rejection by 2Baba’s mother, Madam Rose Idibia, rather than simmering down, is blossoming with the lovebirds sighted intermittently at choice places. Only few days ago, they were spotted at a popular Abuja clothier, Seyi Vodi armed with choice wears neatly packaged. The duo had earlier been warmly welcomed by staff of the outfit, apparently delighted to see them walk in for shopping.

While some die-hard fans of Annie continue to point accusing fingers at the Edo State law maker for the failed Annie-Idibia crashed marriage, the man in the middle, 2Baba insists she played no part in the dramatic end of the union.

He had in the heat of the raging accusation and counter accusation, especially among concerned netizens, predicted that everyone will be fine, submitting “Everybody is going to be alright and everyone is fine, there is no fight or quarrel, I said what I said. Honourable Natasha has been called names and named a home breaker. She is a young, brilliant and amazing young woman and she had nothing to do with what’s happening to my marriage to Annie. But I see people trying to rope her into everything. Yes. I love her. She’s amazing and cool and I want to marry her”

With Annie set to move on with her life, 2Baba’s prediction that everyone will be fine, may as well be on its way to becoming a reality.

2Baba and Annie were married for 12 years, having officially tied the knot in 2012.
