Anambra Senator, Ubah, Dies In London
Senator Ifeanyi Ubah

Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial district, Ifeanyi Ubah, is reportedly dead.

He was said to have died in London.

Details of his death are scanty as of the time of filing this report.

Aged, 52, Mr Ubah is the CEO of Capital Oil which he founded in 2001.

Ubah joined the All Progressives Congress (APC), a few months ago and was aspiring to contest for governor under the party in the state.

He had contested during 2014 Anambra gubernatorial election under the platform of the Labour Party but lost to Willie Obiano.  Ubah later joined the Young Progressive Party (YPP) and won the Anambra South Senatorial seat during the 2019 election.

In September 2022, Ubah escaped assassination attempt which led to death of some police officers attached to him.
