Ahead of the team’s last game in the group stage against Senegal on Friday, Bosso, who is the President of the Nigeria Coaches Association spoke to the media ahead of the match with the francophone West African foes.

“I know the feelings in Nigeria about our performance but as a coach, I am not too happy like that,” Bosso admitted.

Bosso was in charge of the Flying Eagles squads to the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup and also in 2023.

“Before the African Games we only have few days to prepare not even a month so the players cannot quickly meet the expectations of fans.

“All I am trying to say is that this is not the time to criticise the team instead they should continue supporting and praying for us,” the onetime Wikki Stars of Bauchi coach said.

Flying Eagles on Tuesday worked on theor shooting skills and is said to be satisfied by the efforts put by his players.
