Lagos Governor Signs VAT Bill Into Law

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has signed the Value Added Tax (VAT) Bill into law.

The State House of Assembly had on Thursday September, 9th, 2021, passed the Bill.

The Law seeks to empower the state government to “impose and charge VAT on certain goods and services.”

The signing was done at Lagos House, Alausa, Ikeja, on Friday.
