Stock Market: FLOURMILL, WAPCO Top Equities Gainers Chart

FLOURMILL and WAPCO ended as top two gainers of equities on the Nigerian Exchange Group NGX, on Friday September 3, 2021.

FLOURMILL closed with N30.00 as against N 28.85 on Thursday, gaining N1.15 to top the chart today, with a change of 3.99%. WAPCO on the other hand came second on the gainers chart by closing the day with N 22.40 against N 22.00 on Thursday, gaining N0.40 which is a change of 1.82%.

The top ten occupying the equities gainers chart alongside FLOURMILL and WAPCO include NEIMETH, NAHCO, GTCO, AFRIPRUD, UPDC UBA, ZENITH and TRANSCORP.

On the equities losers chart, STANBIC VITAFOAM and HONYFLOUR were the top three losers.

STANBIC closed the day with N39.75 against N41.00 on Thursday resulting in a loss of -N1.25, with a change of -3.05%. VITAFOAM closed the day with N16.30 against N16.50 on Thursday losing -N0.20 with a change of -1.21%, while HONYFLOUR closed the day with N3.70 as against N3.90 on Thursday also losing –N0.20 reflecting a change of -5.13%.

Others in the top ten of equities losers chart include NPFMCRFBK, LIVESTOCK, FTNCOCOA, MBENEFIT, FCMB, OANDO and ACCESS.

For the Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) gainers, only VETGRIF30 emerged today, closing at N17.02 against N16.25 on Thursday. It gained N0.77 reflecting a change of 4.74%.

The ETF losers are VETBANK and VETINDETF. While VETINDETF closed today with N19.65 against N19.85 on Thursday, with a loss of –N0,22 which is a change of -1.11%, VETBANK  closed today with N3.77 against N 3.88 on Thursday, losing -N0.11 which is a change of -2.84%
