Ahead of Saturday night’s pre season friendly against Premier League rivals, Arsenal, Manchester United have turned their summer transfer attentions to the duo of Rasmus Hojlund and Sofyan Amrabat.

The Old Trafford landlords have secured the signature of Cameroon international, Andre Onana from Inter Milan and the Serie A seems to be the place of destination for the United hierarchy.

Onana have signed a five-year deal to become Africa’s most expensive goalkeeper.

Now, another African star, Amrabat could join from Fiorentina along Danish international, Hojlund.

Several sources in the English media are reporting on Friday that Fiorentina have set a price of £25m for Amrabat who was the standout defensive midfielder at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

United are hopeful of getting a good alternative to Casemiro who missed a large amount of games last season due to suspensions.

Amrabat has played for the Purples on 107 occasions in all competitions, scoring once and providing one assist.

Atalanta youngster, Hojlund, has been valued for over £80m but it remains to be seen if United who are still not with new owners as expected, will shell out such huge outlay on a youngster.

Meanwhile, tickets for the friendly against the Gunners will kick off at 10pm local time with Onana expected to make his United debut in a packed stadium which has been sold out according to reports on Friday.
