Yul Edochie Clears Personal Instagram Following Son's Death

Yul Edochie, the popular Nigerian actor, has wiped his Instagram account clean of all posts. The move came in the aftermath of the sudden death of his first son, Kambilichukwu, who passed away after suffering a seizure while playing football with his schoolmates. The young boy’s passing occurred on March 30, 2023.

Despite the tragedy, Edochie has been relatively silent on social media, and he has not released an official statement about his son’s passing. The actor has, however, urged the authorities to investigate the circumstances surrounding his son’s death.

Recently, the actor took a shocking move and deleted all posts from his social media page, including the ones with his second wife, Judy, whom he had announced his marriage to and had a child with in April 2022. The only picture he left was of himself and his father.

First, he deleted all the pictures he had posted about or with his second wife, Judy. He also deleted the post he made last April announcing that he had taken a second wife and had a child with her.

It is unclear why he decided to take down the posts, but it is a significant move that has sparked a lot of speculation among his fans.

Recall that, The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has expressed sadness over the death of Nollywood Actor, Yul Edochie’s Son, in a statement on Twitter.

Commiserating with the actor, Peter Obi made a condolence post in a thread of tweets on his official Twitter account. The statement read:

“I send my most sincere condolences to Yul and May Edochie, over the death of their beloved first son Kambilichukwu. The death of a loved one, is always a painful experience, more so that of a son. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Edochie Family, as we ask God to strengthen and comfort Kambilichukwu’s parents, his doting grandfather Pete Edochie and the entire Edochie family. May God Almighty give them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss, and grant Kambilichukwu eternal rest in his kingdom. -PO”
