I'm 43% Nigerian, Meghan Markle Reveals

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has disclosed that she is 43 per cent Nigerian.

This, according to her, she discovered after she carried out a genealogy test some years ago.

Meghan Markle shared this in the latest episode of her podcast, Archetypes, where she expressed her desire to learn more about her roots.

The Duchess of Sussex told Nigerian-American actor, Ziwe, that she discovered her roots after having her genealogy done “a couple of years ago.”

According to reports in the Mirror, the Duchess, Meghan Markle, said to her guest, “I’m 43% Nigerian” to the consternation of Ziwe, who shouted “No way!”.
Ziwe then asked her if she was serious and inquired to know more if she is Igbo, Yoruba or the rest.
