According to a post on INEC’s official Twitter handle, the recruitment portal which opened on Wednesday, would be closed on Wednesday 14th December 2022, at 8:00 pm.

To this effect, the electoral body urged all eligible applicants apply for the respective positions advertised.

The Commission has approved the re-activation of INECPRES, both for Mobile devices (for Android phones only) and the web portal (laptops only).

“To this end, the portal will be open to eligible applicants for registration of all categories of ad-hoc staff (SPO/PO/APO/RATECHS/RAC Managers) except the Collation officers.”

This employment opportunity is open to current severing NYSC members, former NYSC members (not earlier than 2018), students in their penultimate year and heads of schools among others.

The INECPRES is available via two links located on the INEC website: www.inecnigeria.org (a link for the Mobile App and the other link is for the web portal).

INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, had last week said it would publish the final lists of presidential and national assembly candidates on September 20. The electoral body also said campaigns will officially commence on September 28.
