Amusan Wins Silver At Lausanne Diamond League 

Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan on Friday evening scooped the silver medal in the final of the 100m Hurdles of the 2022 Diamond League Meeting in Lusannne, Switzerland reports Prime Business Africa.

The World and Commonwealth Games record holder ran a time of 12.45 seconds to finish behind Jasmine Camacho-Quin who clinched a new Meeting Record of 12.34s (-0.9).

Camacho-Quinn was the gold medallist in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics of the Women’s Hurdles event.

Tia Jones ran a new Personal Best of 12.47s to take the bronze.

Amusan was imperious at the World Athletics Championships and the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
