The four-time capped Super Eagles forward spent last season on loan at Leicester City but despite a very promising time with the Foxes his stint was not made permanent.

Lookman who had represented England at the youth levels before changing allegiance to play for his country of origin scored eight league goals for Leicester last season with five assists to booth in 42 appearances in all competitions.

The winger made his international debut for Nigeria in March 2022 in Nigeria’s ill-fated World Cup playoffs against Ghana.

Lookman has also played for English clubs like Charlton Athletic, Fulham and Everton.
