Barcelona Begs Pique, Busquets To Reduce Big Salaries

FC Barcelona are asking Gerard Piqué & Sergio Busquets for a salary reduction to register all of the signings made this summer.

If the superstars do not accept, the club will have a big problem according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano on Wednesday night.

Barcelona have until Saturday, August 13 to register their new players but cannot afford to do so until they terminate the contracts of certain players or have them drastically reduce their enormous salaries.

However some of the payers are adamant that the club must pay the salaries in their contracts and have refused to budge.

Frankie de Jong is one of such players who are being owed large of sum of deferred salaries and is now being expected to forgo his money and sign for Manchester United on a bid to bring in more players.
