Social media siren, Korra Obidi has accused ‘netizens,’ saying, her marriage with now popular Justin Dean hit the rock because of social media and its nuances.
The Nigerian dancer revealed this in a in a video, addressing people who were anticipating when she would show off a new man in her life. The divorcee and mother of two quickly shut down the wild expectation, swearing she will never show off her man on social media, ever again.
Blaming netizens for crashing her marriage, the dancer sounded remorseful about her split with Dean, but wondered why the estranged husband, won’t throw her things out of his house when people on social media would slide into his ‘Direct Message’ to lay complaints about her.
“Some of you message him saying. Look at what your wife is doing online,” Korra Obidi lamented.
You would recall that Korra once hinted she wouldn’t tell her side of the story during the heat of her divorce saga with her American husband.
According to her, she was trying to stay strong for her kids but once she’s stronger, she’d tell her part of the story.
Then, the US-based dancer went on Facebook live and stated that she was being judged because of her husband’s one-sided story concerning their divorce.
Speaking on the divorce, Korra said, “When I can talk about my story. I will talk about it. When I’m able to tell my story, I’ll share everything with you guys.”
“Until then, please be patient with me. And please know that I have two girls that I have to take care of. If I’m not there, nobody will.”
Therefore, with her ‘indicting’ social media for causing her woes, could it be she is ready to air her side now?
Prime Business Africa recalls that Dean had announced that he was going to divorce his wife April this year, just a few days after they welcomed their second daughter together.
In a Instagram post then, the father-of-two noted that he was leaving the marriage because of his mental health.
He wrote, “I’m heartbroken! Anyone that knows me or watches me online knows that I’m a dedicated family man to both Korra and my children.”
