PDP Primaries: Tambuwal Withdraws From PDP Presidential Race

Tambuwal Defeats Incumbent Dambuwa In Sokoto South Senatorial Election

Sokoto State governor, Aminu Tambuwal, has withdrawn from the Presidential race.

Governor Tambuwal gave the indication at the ongoing Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) special national convention/ presidential primaries at Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja.

The governor urged delegates and his supporters to support Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, former vice president who is contesting.

Commenting on his withdrawal from the race, Tambuwal said, “Time has come for us to make sacrifices in the interest of our party and our nation. I have come to the conclusion that I have to step down.”
