Nigerian Idol Season 7: Progress Pips Zadok To Win N30m, Recording Deal, Brand New SUV

The season finale of the blockbuster singing competition, Nigerian Idol Season 7 took place on Sunday 22 May 2022 with Progress Chukwuyem, simply known as Progress beating off competition from runner up, Zadok reports Prime Business Africa.

Progress and Zadok received rave reviews from million of Nigerians who took a liking to their distinctive voices, dexterity and stage presence, clinching millions of votes on weekly bases.

The last lady standing, Banty was third and was eliminated from the competition last week Sunday.

The Delta state born music producer won a prize money of N30m, a recording deal, a brand new SUV and other gifts worth N100m.

The Nigerian Idol was sponsored by Fintech company, Binance and soft drink giants, Big Cola and was live on African Magic channels for four months with additional three months being when the audition was held.

There were great performances on the stage from two of three judges, Simi and D’banj as well from Season 6 winner, Kingdom Kroseide who were joined by the top 10 contestants from this season, ably backed by other singers.

IK Osakioduwa was the host of the show like previous seasons.
