Osinbajo said, “Security is a crucial matter, we assure that the Federal Government will cooperate with the Anambra State Government to restore law and order in the State.

“Anambra is a major hub of industry in Nigeria, especially with regards to Small and Medium Enterprises, and is one of the States that everyone is looking up to with high expectations of significant inputs to the growth of the country’s economy.”

Welcoming the Vice president, Governor Soludo stressed that effective collaboration between the state and the Federal Government was imperative in tackling the current security challenges in the State and the entire Southeast.

Writing on his Facebook wall some hour later, the Anambra governor noted that he has enjoyed the privilege of working with the vice president at different fora both at the national and continental level and hailed the contributions of Osinbajo to nation building.

“I have enjoyed a cordial working relationship with Mr. Vice President over time; both at the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC), and of course he is currently the Chairman of the National Economic Council to which I am a member,” the stated.

Prime Business Africa reported that the Vice president landed at Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport, Umueri, for some official engagement in the state and was warmly received by the Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo who offered him a ride in his IVM G80 Jeep produced by Innoson Motors.
