(VIDEO): Fleeing Nigerian Students Stranded At Romania-Ukraine Border

February 27, 2022

A video which has gone viral on social media on Sunday, shows Nigerian students fleeing from Ukraine who are stranded at the border between Romania and Ukraine.

A public notice issued by the Nigerian embassy in Bucharest, capital of Romania on Saturday, February 26, had indicated  that it has made arrangements to receive the nationals arriving from Ukraine through the immigration officials at four entry points to the Eastern European country.

This is apparently a measure to save the Nigerians, just like other nationals fleeing from the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, as the Romanian government has granted approval for reception of evacuated citizens of different countries from the crisis-ridden nation.
