SPIN Warns Against Narrowing Sustainability to Corporate Reporting

According to him, organisations that embed sustainability into decision-making are better positioned to manage emerging risks, attract investment and remain competitive in a rapidly changing global economy.

The conference follows SPIN’s induction of 79 new sustainability professionals in June, underscoring the growing demand for environmental, social and governance (ESG) expertise across Nigeria’s corporate sector.

Participants are expected from banking and financial services, manufacturing, energy, telecommunications, consulting, professional services, government institutions, regulatory agencies, development organisations and academia.

Beyond policy discussions, the conference is expected to serve as a platform for business leaders, investors and sustainability practitioners to forge partnerships, exchange best practices and identify opportunities to strengthen corporate resilience while supporting Nigeria’s transition to a more sustainable economy.
