Bellarmine Chatunga, the son of former Zimbabwean leader Robert Mugabe, has been arrested in South Africa following an alleged shooting at his residence in Johannesburg.
Police say the incident took place at his home in the upmarket Hyde Park suburb, where an argument reportedly broke out between Chatunga and a gardener employed at the property. The gardener was shot during the altercation and is said to be in critical condition.
Officers responding to the scene arrested Chatunga along with another suspect. Authorities say the firearm believed to have been used in the shooting has not yet been recovered, although a cartridge was found at the scene.

A police spokesperson in Gauteng province said investigations are ongoing and described the circumstances surrounding the shooting as unclear. Both suspects are expected to be questioned as officials work to establish what led to the incident.
